Dr. Dworkin earned Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute before he received his Medical Degree from the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University. Dr. Dworkin completed his medical residency at the North Shore University Hospital/Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center program of Cornell University Medical College. He was a Fellow in Cardiology at North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset, NY. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease and is Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is an attending physician at Ellis Hospital, St. Clare's Hospital and Sunnyview Hospital in Schenectady, Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville and Memorial Hospital and St. Mary's in Amsterdam. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and the Schenectady County Medical Society. He was cofounder and served as past co-chair of the Maimonides Society of Northeast New York. He is very active in the Capital District Russian Resettlement efforts He and his wife have two daughters.
