Dr. Long received his Bachelor's degree from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA where he graduated Cum Laude and was also elected Phi Beta Kappa. He received his medical education from the University of Medicine and Dentistry - New Jersey Medical School where he was also elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He served his internship and medical residency at Boston City Hospital and his fellowship in cardiology at Boston University Medical Center. Dr. Long is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Long is an attending physician at Ellis Hospital where he is Director of Echocardiography. He is also on the attending staff of St. Clare's Hospital in Schenectady. He is a member of the Medical Society of New York State/Schenectady County and his professional interests include echocardiography, exercise testing and cardiac pacing. He and his wife Susan are parents of three children.
