Dr. Vacca is a Fellow in the American
College of Cardiology and a Fellow in the American College of Physicians. He is
Chief of the Department of Medicine at St. Clare's Hospital. Since 1979 he has
served as the Director of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program. He is a Past
President of the Schenectady County Chapter of the American Heart Association
and currently serves on their Board of Directors. He is a graduate of the
College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is a graduate of
Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed his
Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology training at the Albany Medical Center
Hospital in Albany, New York. His interests are noninvasive Cardiology with a
particular interest in Nuclear Cardiology, coronary artery disease prevention
and exercise physiology. He is a proficient runner and has completed
numerous marathons.
