William M. Vacca, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Vacca is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. He completed medical school at Creighton University School of l Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He pursued Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology training at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany, New York.
Dr. Vacca is a Fellow in the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow in the American College of Physicians. He was the former Chief of the Department of Medicine as well as the Director of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at St. Clare's Hospital. He is a past President of the Schenectady County Chapter of the American Heart Association and currently serves on their Board of Directors.
Dr. Vacca's interests include noninvasive Cardiology with a particular interest in Nuclear Cardiology, coronary artery disease prevention, and exercise physiology.
He has practiced cardiology in Schenectady since 1983.
