Dr. Madiraju attended Medical School at the University of Mysore, India, where he also completed House Officer training.  He completed an Internship, Residency and Chief Residency at Saint Vincent Hospital, University of Massachusetts in Worcester, MA.  After serving as an Assistant Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency,  he continued on to perform a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at Brown Medical School in Providence, RI after which he stayed on to complete a dedicated Vascular & Endovascular Medicine Fellowship.

Dr. Madiraju has since worked with Michigan Heart & Vascular Institute in Ann Arbor, Michigan and the Prairie Heart Institute in Springfield, IL.  He most recently completed a Structural Heart Disease Fellowship at the Prairie Heart Institute and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Vascular Medicine, Endovascular Medicine and Vascular Ultrasonography.

His areas of special interest include transradial coronary intervention, percutaneous hemodynamic support, critical limb ischemia, Trancatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), Transcatheter Mitral Valve Repair (TMVR), paravalvular leak repair, PFO/ASD closure and left atrial appendage occlusion therapies.

Apart from clinical medicine, he is passionate about healthcare delivery, cost effectiveness and has been recognized by patients for his focus on empathy, communication and his thoughtful approach while recommending invasive treatments.
